Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Jama Masjid

The Jama Masjid, AKA Jami Masjid, is a 17th Century mosque in the World Heritage Site of Fatehpur Sikri in India. The mosque was built in 1648 by Emperor Shah Jahan and dedicated to his loving daughter, Jahanara Begum.
